Kansas Lottery
The Kansas Lottery, run by the state’s government, started in November 1986 and continues to be a popular past time for Kansas residents. A year later, the Kansas Legislature passed the Kansas Lottery Act and so the state lottery was set up. This lottery stands by honesty and integrity, with the aim of generating as much revenue for Kansas as possible.
Kansas residents can purchase a variety of scratch cards from the Kansas Lottery that range from just $1 up to $20. There are also a few instant win games that cost just $1 or $2 respectively. What’s more, the Kansas Lottery offers a number of terminal-based games, including Super Kansas Cash, Powerball, Mega Millions, Pick 3, 2by2, and even Lotto America. Tickets and scratch cards are easily available around the state, with nearly 2,000 retailers selling lottery products. The lottery also sponsors a variety of races at the Kansas Speedway.
