Oregon Lottery
The first Oregon Lottery tickets were sold in April 1985. But it wasn’t until November that year that things really got exciting when the Oregon Megabucks game launched. It was the first US lottery game that allowed winners to choose between annuity and lump sum winnings.
Ever since this state lottery has added even more games providing players with loads of jackpot opportunities. The most significant addition came in February 2008 when Oregon became the original Multi-State Lottery Association member state. This was also when Lotto America launched, later being replaced by Oregon Powerball.
The Oregon Lottery always looks to add to its portfolio of games with both sports and casino betting options. 1992 saw video poker machines installed in bars and adult establishments and slots were installed 13 years later.
The OR Lottery still offers a wide range of lottery games, including Pick 4, Lucky Lines, Megabucks, and Win for Life, along with Mega Millions and Powerball.
